Elizabeth Cole Obituary

Elizabeth Virginia Cole, 85 years, of Rising Sun, MD, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 in the Calvert Manor Health Care Center of Rising Sun, MD. Born April 2, 1933 in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Brainard W. Lee Sr. and Adella Morgan Lee.

Mrs. Cole was a member of the Conowingo Baptist Church of Conowingo, MD. She is survived by her son, Robert C. Cole Jr. and wife, Eva, of Whiteford, MD; daughters, Judy Valenzuela and husband, Richard, of Autaugaville, AL, Darla Snyder and husband, Johnny, of Port Deposit, MD, Candace Absher and husband, Raymond, of Drumore, PA; 9 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; and sister, Nan Stone.

Mrs. Cole was preceded in death her husband, Robert Clayborne Cole Sr.; brothers, Brainard Lee Jr. and Billy Lee; sister, Betty Stone.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Carol, our mother's special caregiver.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, October 4, 2018, 2 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, October 4, 2018, 12 Noon until 2 PM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor Jonathan Oyler of the Faith Community Chapel of Delta, PA, will officiate. Interment will private.
