Charles William Zellman, Sr., 80 yrs, of Havre de Grace, MD, died Monday, July 9, 2018 in Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center, Forest Hill, MD.  Born August 13, 1937 in Harford County, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Edward and Mildred Virginia Jackson Zellman.
Charles was formerly employed by the Bata Shoe Company in Belcamp, MD.  He was a volunteer member of the Community Fire Company of Perryville, MD, having served as a fire policeman, and Havre de Grace Youth Football.  He enjoyed NASCAR, drag racing, the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens.  He is survived by his son, Charles W. Zellman, Jr., of Perryville, MD (Sassy); daughters, Deborah J. Zellman Stout of Havre de Grace, MD, Sandra L. Zellman Blake of Charlestown, MD, and Kelly A. Zellman Szatmary of Havre de Grace, MD; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and his sister, Virginia Ann Smeltzer.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Jean Kreisel Zellman and brother, Gene Edward Zellman.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, July 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM  at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, July 12, 2018, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Active pallbearers will be Sione Maddox, C.W. Zellman, Seth Woods, David Blake, Rob Young and Paul Bennington.  Honorary pallbearers will be John Jackson and Jack Melrath.  Pastor Craig M. Mele of the Maple View Baptist Church, Joppa, MD, will officiate.  Interment will be in Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, MD.
