My deepest condolences to Roberta’s family. I first met Roberta when I worked at the Liberty Bell at the age of 17. I later became a police officer and would frequent the truck plaza on nite shift for breakfast or a coffee. Roberta had that same welcoming smile I knew as a kid.. My mother worked as a waitress with Roberta for many years at the Liberty Bell and always spoke so fondly of Roberta referring to her as sweet and caring. I last saw Roberta at Walmart and told her that I had retired from law enforcement, she joked about knowing me since I was a baby and here I was retired. Roberta was a wonderful lady and will be missed dearly by so many.

It was truly a blessing working with Berta. No matter how frustrating things would get we could also find humor in the end. Her strong character and good humor always made for a good day. Roberta will sorely be missed and my heartfelt prayers are with her family.

So sorry to see this. I have not seen Roberta since school. Over 50 years. She was in 4-H with me. My mom Nancy Conrad was our leader. Ruth and Roberta were an accent to our club.
