Margaret Elizabeth Lynch Linton, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at home. Born December 11, 1928 in Porter’s Bridge, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Elizabeth Wiggins Lynch.

Mrs. Linton is survived by her sons, Donald Linton of Conestoga, PA, and Dale Linton of Port Deposit, MD; three grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Thelma A. Lynch and Frances Linton.

Mrs. Linton was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church of Port Deposit, MD. She was formerly employed by the Maryland Department of Transportation John F. Kennedy Memorial Highway (I-95) Toll Facility.

Mrs. Linton was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Albert Linton; brothers, Richard Lynch and Elmer Lynch; and sister, Alice Meck.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Pleasant View Baptist Church in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, January 10, 2019, 12 Noon, at the Pleasant View Baptist Church of Port Deposit, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, January 10, 2019, 10 AM until 12 Noon, at the church prior to the funeral service.  Pastor Dr. Harold Phillips of Pleasant View Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD.

My sincere condolences to the family. Betty always had a smile and was so nice and kind to everyone she worked with.She will be missed.
