Aaron Robert Neely

Aaron Robert Neely, 47, of Stewartstown, PA, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2026, at home. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of Donna J. Barnes (Albert) and the late Robert E. Neely. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Stacy Neely.

Aaron graduated from Perryville High School and went on to serve his country from 1998 until 2003. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a former member of the Water Witch Fire Company of Port Deposit, MD, and the Community Fire Company of Perryville, MD. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Career Fire Chiefs Association, Citizens Volunteer Fire Company, Myotonic Goat Registry, and the National Rifle Association. Aaron was the Assistant Fire Chief, Department of Veterans Affairs, Perry Point Fire Department, Perry Point, MD. His service spanned 27 years.

Aaron is survived by sons, Ryan (Kaya) and Austin; sisters, Donna Bannon (Andrew) and Lisa Frye (Robert Clemson); brother-in-law, Darryl Witmer (Megan); three nieces; four nephews; three great nieces; and two great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Citizens Volunteer Fire Company, 171 South Market Street, Fawn Grove, PA 17321.

A Celebration of Life has been scheduled for Thursday, August 27, 2026, 11 AM, at the Community Fire Company of Perryville Minker Hall, Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, August 27, 2026, 10 AM until 11 AM, at Minker Hall prior to the Celebration of Life. Interment will be private. Kindly omit flowers.
