Adam David Ross, 47 years, of Churchville, MD, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at home, surrounded by his loving family. Born February 18, 1978 in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of Ronald Paul and Karen Barnes Ross Murray.
A graduate of the University of Maryland, with a BS in Computer Science, Adam had worked as a computer scientist for Applied Research Associates at the Aberdeen Proving Ground. He was an avid Maryland sports fan, a member of the Terrapin Club, and the University of Maryland Colonnade Society.
Adam had a number of hobbies, including wine making, beer brewing, and was known for his exceptional culinary skills. He enjoyed growing orchids and other exotic plants. He played on a regular trivia team with his friends for many years.
Adam was a gentle soul with a brilliant mind, who was devoted to his family.
Adam is survived by his mother and step-father, Karen Ross Murray and Richard Murray; father and step-mother, Ronald Paul Ross and Debra Ross; brothers, Colin Murray, Eric Murray, Brian Murray, and Ryan Ross; and sister, Crystal Ross.
A Celebration of Life / UM tailgate party will be held on September 14 from 3 to 7 at the Hopkins Farm Brewery of Havre de Grace, MD. Wear your UM gear if you have it.
