Agnes Ann (Hainline) Graybeal

Agnes Ann Graybeal, 91 years, a beloved resident of Rising Sun, MD, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024, at the Calvert Manor Nursing Home of Rising Sun, Maryland.

Born in Bonaparte, Iowa, March 19, 1932, Agnes was the beloved daughter of the late Leslie G. and C. Faye (Kerr) Hainline.

Agnes and Robert T. Graybeal, Sr., were married December 1, 1951. She built a life that took her from Iowa to Maryland and Arizona, working in a number of fields, but finding her greatest fulfillment as a caregiver. She and Robert’s family included four children, nine grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.

Agnes is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Wiggins (Doug) of Rising Sun, MD; sons, Randy Graybeal (Patti) and John Graybeal (Michelle) both of Colora, MD. Agnes is also remembered fondly by her surviving sisters-in-law, Marie Hainline of Keosauqua, Iowa and Ruth Graybeal of Rising Sun, MD.

In addition to her parents, Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Graybeal, Sr.; son, Robert T. Grabyeal, Jr.; and daughter-in-law, Brenda Graybeal.

A service honoring Agnes is scheduled for Monday, January 29, 2024, 11 AM, at the Conowingo Baptist Church of Conowingo, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, January 29, 2024, 10 AM until 11 AM, at the church prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in the Conowingo Baptist Church Cemetery, Conowingo, MD.
