Albert Wayne Mcguigan

Albert Wayne McGuigan, 78 yrs, of Conowingo, MD, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at his home.  Born May 26, 1935 in Cape May, NJ, he was the son of the late William Paul and Mae Hallburner McGuigan. Wayne is survived by his sons, Albert Ricky McGuigan and wife, Sally, of Conowingo, MD, Ronald Lee McGuigan and wife, Prudence, of Mountain City, TN, Wesley E. McGuigan and wife, Kathleen, of Conowingo, MD; daughters, Donna Lynn Grant, Sharon Mae McGuigan, Patricia Ann Fry and husband, David, all of Conowingo, MD, Connie Marie Fritts and husband, Joseph, of Rising Sun, MD; 15 grandchildren and their spouses; 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Lydia Eastridge Fisher of Conowingo, MD, Pauline Sheets of New York and  Betty Ann Hughes of Quarryville, PA; many nieces and nephews and their families and many friends and neighbors. Wayne was saved and baptized into the family of God. He was a lifelong member of the Pilottown Rod & Gun Club of Conowingo, MD. Wayne was an avid sportsman and loved his family. In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Laura June McCall McGuigan; son, Stephen Wayne McGuigan; brothers, Francis Allen McGuigan, Fred McGuigan, Arthur Ralph McGuigan; and sisters, Margaret Dinsmore, Florence Fisher and Edith Cochran. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, December 2, 2013, 11 AM, at the Pleasant View Baptist Church of Port Deposit, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, December 1, 2013, 7 PM until 9 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Pastor Dr. Harold Phillips of Pleasant View Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Conowingo Baptist Church Cemetery, Conowingo, MD. Arrangements by Lee A.
