Alice Emma (Malloy) Woodhull

Alice Emma Woodhull, 87 yrs, of Charlestown, MD, died Saturday, September 24, 2011, in the Calvert Manor Healthcare Center of Rising Sun, MD. Born February 21, 1924, in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late James H. and Frances Whitmore Malloy. Mrs. Woodhull was an active member of St. John’s United Methodist Church of Charlestown, MD, provided pastoral care at Union Hospital of Cecil County in Elkton, MD, for over 20 years, and was formerly employed by Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, NJ, as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She is survived by her sons, Gregory R. Woodhull and wife, Mary Ann, of Voorhees, NJ, and Mark A. Woodhull of Charlestown, MD; two brothers, James Malloy and John Malloy. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Woodhull was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer “Woody” R. Woodhull. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s United Methodist Church or the Salvation Army in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 1, 2011, 12 Noon, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, October 1, 2011, 10 AM - 12 Noon, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Rev. Mary Browne of St. John’s United Methodist Church of Charlestown, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Charlestown Cemetery, Charlestown, MD. Arrangements by Lee A.
