Allen R. Simpers, Sr.

Allen R. Simpers, Sr., 71 yrs, of Aberdeen, MD, died March 17, 2011, in the Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center, Forest Hill, MD. Born April 20, 1939, in Elkton, MD, he was a son  of the Robert Eugene and Anna Amelia Simpers Singleton. Mr. Simpers was employed by Oris Grimm Home Improvement of Aberdeen, MD, and is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Myrtle Virginia Combs Simpers, of Aberdeen, MD; sons, Charles Simpers, Lee Roy Simpers, Michael Wayne Simpers, all of Aberdeen, MD, and Allen Roy Simpers, Jr., of Edgewood, MD; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brother, Robert Eugene Singleton, Jr.; and sisters, Mary Brian and Betty Owens. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2011,  7 PM - 9 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Interment will be private.
