Alma Jacqueline (Woodmancy) Halsey

Alma Jacqueline Halsey, 70 yrs, of Conowingo, MD, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013 in Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.  Born December 28, 1942 in Niagara, NY, she was the daughter of the late John Russell Woodmancy and Eugenia Bernice Skinner Woodmancy Petersen. Mrs. Halsey was a homemaker and is survived by her husband, Edward Terry Halsey of Conowingo, MD; daughter, Terri Thacker; five grandchildren; and sisters, Betty Nickle and Leah Simpson. Mrs. Halsey was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Halsey. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, July 19, 2013, 11 AM, at the Church of God of Prophecy, Rising Sun, MD.  Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, July 19, 2013, 9 AM until 11 AM, at the church prior to the funeral service.  Pastor James G. Mullins of the Church of God of Prophecy will officiate. Interment will be in Conowingo Baptist Church Cemetery, Conowingo, MD. Arrangements by Lee A.
