Ann Edna (Cooper) Jackson

Ann Edna Jackson, 93 years, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at her residence. Born November 5, 1923 in Cokesbury, MD, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Elva Lemons Cooper. Mrs. Jackson was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church of Port Deposit, MD, and was formerly employed in Food Services by the Cecil County Public Schools. She is survived by her daughter, Bertina Stewart; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband, James Jackson; brothers, Lawrence Cooper, Melvin Cooper, Theodore Cooper; and sister, Mary E. Cooper Townley. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, March 18, 2017, 12 Noon, at Cokesbury United Methodist Church, Port Deposit, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017, 10 AM until 12 Noon, at the church prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in Cokesbury Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD.
