Anna Reed Baker, 95 years, a longtime resident of Aberdeen, MD, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016, in the University of Maryland Medical Center of Baltimore, MD. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Fred E. Baker. She was employed for over 25 years by the Aberdeen Proving Ground of Aberdeen, MD, as an Accountant Technician.
Mrs. Baker is survived by her son, Barry L. Baker of Port Deposit, MD; his grandchildren, Dan and Larry VanReenen, Tim Stone, the late Linda VanReenen; 14 great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Baker is also survived by her son, Terry Baker of Aberdeen, MD, and his wife, Shirley, and their grandchildren, Dawn L. Baker of Abingdon, Scott E. Baker of Aberdeen; great grandchildren, Kaila, Chandler, Kendal, and Hayden; and great great grandchild, Tatum.
She had a deep and abiding faith in God and was a longtime and faithful member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Joppa, MD.
Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, October 4, 2016, 1 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2016, 11 AM until 1 PM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor Charles H. Lashley of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Joppa, MD. Interment will be in Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, MD.
