Anne Margaret Mary (Mulcahy) Barretto

Anne Margaret Mary Barretto, 95 years, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Born November 7, 1921 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late William and Anne Witthauer Mulcahy. Mrs. Barretto was formerly employed by the Hutzler’s Brothers Department Store of Baltimore, MD. She served for many years as the administrator of the CCD Program of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Baltimore, MD, and was a very active volunteer in her community. Mrs. Barretto is survived by her  daughters, Barbara Sneed, Jean Uebel and Susan Cassaday; 11 grandchildren;  20 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Barretto was preceded in death by her husband,  James N. Barretto; son, Michael Barretto;  brothers, William L. Mulcahy and Robert Mulcahy; sisters, Mary Drake, Aileen Stielper and Virginia Cusick. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 20, 2017, 12 Noon, at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2017, 11 AM until 12 Noon, at Good Shepherd Church prior to the funeral service. Father Jay McKee of Good Shepherd Parish, Perryville, MD, will officiate. Committal services will take place Thursday, September 21, 2017, 11 AM, at the Gardens of Faith Memorial Park, Baltimore, MD.
