Arthur G. Ford, Iii

Arthur Granville Ford, III, 69 years, of Perryville, MD, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 at home. Born November 8, 1948 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Arthur G. Ford, Jr., and Rita C. Countess Ford. Mr. Ford was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was formerly employed as a Parole Officer and Chief Clerk of the Circuit Court for Harford County, Bel Air, MD. He is survived by his son, Arthur G. Ford, IV, of Perryville, MD; daughter, Lynda K. Shrewsbury of Perryville, MD; four grandchildren; and brother, James Howard Ford. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ford was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Hopkins Ford. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, February 22, 2018, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville,  MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2018, 7 PM until 9 PM, at the funeral home. Pastor Dr. Harold Phillips of the Pleasant View Baptist Church of Port Deposit, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Angel Hill Cemetery, Havre de Grace, MD.
