Arthur L. Hickman, Sr.

Arthur Leslie Hickman, Sr., 70 yrs, of Port Deposit, MD, died Friday, January 20, 2012, in Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace, MD.  Born November 1, 1941, in Perryville, MD, he was the son of the late Lester and Elsie Barrow Hickman. Mr. Hickman is a member of the Dogwood Church of Elkton, MD. He is retired from the Town of Elkton where he was employed as a crew leader in their maintenance department. Mr. Hickman is survived by his wife, Linda Jennings Hickman of Port Deposit, MD; son, Arthur Hickman, Jr., of Elkton, MD; daughters, Cindy Kennedy of Elkton, MD, and Debbie Cole of Brogue, PA; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and sister, Betty Weamer of Conowingo, MD. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hickman was preceded in death by his brothers, Dennis Hickman and Richard Hickman. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, January 23, 2012, 12 Noon, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, January 23, 2012, 11 AM until 12 Noon, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor Andy Parrett of Dogwood Church of Elkton, MD, and Pastor Perry Grose of Cecil Upper Room Gospel Tabernacle of Bayview, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD.
