Arthur Allen Jackson

Arthur Allen Jackson, 65 yrs, of Perryville, MD, died Sunday, October 20, 2013 at his residence while surrounded by his loved ones.  Born January 17, 1948 in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of the late Arthur E. Jackson and Reba Amanda Burlin. Mr. Jackson was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served three years during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Rising Sun American Legion Post No. 194, Rising Sun, MD., for 45 years. Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife of 32 years, Erma Marie Calvert Jackson; sons, Allen Wayne and Brandon Lee, all of Perryville, MD; brother, Evertt Edward and wife, Peggy Marie, of Elkton, MD; and sister, Rita Zimmerman of Perryville, MD. Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his brother, Robert; and sisters, Barbara and Bonnie. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Memorial services are scheduled for Thursday, October 31, 2013, 11 AM, at the Rising Sun American Legion Post No. 194, Rising Sun, MD., with a luncheon immediately following the service.
