Audrey Currier Abrahams

Audrey Currier Abrahams, 95 years, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017 in the house in which she was born on September 9, 1922 to the late Ward and Martha Currier Abrahams and resided in until her death. Ms. Abrahams was a member of the Jacob Tome Memorial United Methodist Church of Port Deposit, MD. She was a charter member of the Old Port Deposit Decorating Committee and she and her friend, Emily Jack, decorated Port Deposit for many years at Christmas until they retired. In addition, Ms. Abrahams was a member of the Historical Society of Cecil County and the Port Deposit Heritage Society. She was formerly employed by the U.S. Postal Service of Port Deposit, MD, for 45 years. Ms. Abrahams is survived by her brother, Norman Abrahams and sister, Eleanor Abrahams of Port Deposit, MD.
