Audrey Wardell Riale

Audrey Wardell Riale, 89 years, of Rising Sun, MD, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 in the Calvert Manor HealthCare Center of Rising Sun, MD. Born August 18, 1927 in Port Deposit, MD, she was the daughter of the late Luther Grafton and Edna Jennings Wardell. Audrey was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church of Colora, MD. She is survived by her daughter, Dale E. Underwood of Rising Sun, MD; son-in-law, Darrel Kinnan of Lincoln, NE; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; and sister, Joan Johnson of Gastonia, NC. In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, William James Riale, Jr.; daughter, Darlene K. Kinnan; grandson, Jeremy Kinnan; brothers, Robert Wardell, Richard Wardell and Earl Wardell; sisters, Margaret Lee Workman and Jean Tezai. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ruth Graybeal Nursing Scholarship Fund in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, February 17, 2017, 12 Noon, at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, Colora, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, February 17, 2017, 11 AM until 12 Noon, at the church prior to the funeral service. Pastor Dr. David Burke of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Colora, MD.
