Barbara Ellen Greer Morgan

Barbara Ellen Greer Morgan, 95 years old, of Rising Sun, MD, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024. Born February 5, 1929 in Jonesville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Jerry and Annie Bell Hepner Mitchell.

Mrs. Morgan was formerly employed by the Kennett Square Mushroom Cannery. She is survived by her sons, Wilford Greer and wife, Star, and Frank Morgan and wife, Nancy; daughters, Brenda S. Charlton, Freda Stroupe, and Linda Hamm; brother, Jerry Kent Mitchell; sister, Annie Mae King; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her husbands, Worth Greer and Frank Morgan; sons, Ernest Gene Greer and Bill Morgan; brothers, Seth, Luther and; sisters, Lula, Hazel, Emma Lou, Katie Bell and Eva.

Interment will be Monday, June 3, 2024, 2PM,  in the Yadkinville Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, Yadkinville, NC.
