Bernard "Bernie" Leon Bernard Jr.

Bernard Leon James, Jr., also known as “Bernie”, departed this life Friday, December 22, 2017. Son of Bernard L. James, Sr., formerly of Perryville, MD, and the late Caroline (Lena) Williams James. Left to cherish fond memories of Bernie are his father, Bernard James, Sr.; son, Bernard James, III; five grandchildren, Shaqira Griffin, Jakaar Osborn, Nakia Griffin, Dejon Wright and Jazmine Griffin; two brothers, Dwight James, Michael James (Denise); two sisters, Brenda James Jones (Tyrone), Frances Epps (Thomas); uncle, Harold James; aunts, Lorraine Holman, Gloria James and Rosa Lee Brown; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, February 10, 2018, 12 Noon, at the St. James African Methodist Episcopal Church, 615-617 Green Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078. Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018, 11 AM until 12 Noon, at the church prior to the memorial service.
