Bernarda (Lopresti) Quattrocchi

Bernarda “Bernadine” LoPresti Quattrocchi, 85 years, died Tuesday, June 7, 2011, in Calvert Manor Healthcare Center, Rising Sun, MD. Born March 26, 1926 in Rodi Milici Messina, Sicily, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Carmelo and Salvatora Caterina LoPresti. Bernadine was formerly employed as a tailor by Joseph A. Banks of Homestead, MD. She is survived by her daughter, Josephine “Jo” Duley and husband, James, Joppa, MD; son-in-law, William Fazio, Port Deposit, MD; three grandchildren, Timothy, Kellen and James; one great granddaughter, Madicyn; brother, Carmelo LoPresti and wife, Angela, Perry Hall, MD; sisters, Domenica Scilipoti, Marie Calabrese, Antonia Rosello, Caterina Scilipoti, of all Sicily, Italy. In addition to her parents, Bernadine was preceded in death by her husband, Natali Quattrocchi; brother, Luigi LoPresti; and sister, Guiseppa Munafo. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Friends of St. Teresa in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, June 13, 2011, 11 AM, at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, June 12, 2011, 2 - 4 PM  and 7 - 9 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Father Jay McKee of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Perryville, MD, will officiate.  Interment will be in Holly Hill Memorial Gardens, Baltimore, MD.  A memorial mass will be held in Rodi Melci, Sicily at a later date.
