Bessie (Morrison) Williams

Bessie Morrison Williams, age 90, of Conowingo, MD, passed away peacefully September 11, 2015. Born April 16, 1925 in Rowlandsville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Leroy G. Morrison and Eva J. Jennings Morrison. Mrs. Williams enjoyed her family, reading and watching NASCAR. Survivors include her husband of 71 ½ years, Donald N. Williams; children, Rodney (Lillie) Williams of North East, MD, Darlene (James) Hudson of Colora, MD, Steven (Karen) Williams of Conowingo, MD, Robin (William) Brueckman of North East, MD, Carlene McGlothlin of Conowingo, MD, Donald (Kathy) Williams of Conowingo, MD; 15 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and one great great grandson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her sisters, Kathryn Ewing and Marquerite Craig; grandson, Rodney Brian Williams; and son-in-law, John R. McGlothlin. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2015, 11 AM, at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 1713 Liberty Grove Road, Colora, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, September 19, 2015, 10 AM until 11 AM, at the church prior to the funeral service. Pastor Dr. David Burke of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in West Nottingham Cemetery, Colora, MD.
