Blanche Marie (Brooks) Lesert

Blanche Marie Lesert, 90 years, of North East, MD, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2022 in the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center of Bel Air, MD. Born December 22, 1931 in Elkton-State Road, NC, she was the daughter of the late Harvy Lee and Bertha Estille Holcomb Brooks.

Blanche was a member of the Maranatha Baptist Church of Elkton, MD. She was formerly employed by the Bata Shoe Company and Monarch.

Blanche is survived by her sons, Leonard Dwight Andrews, Edd Madison Farrington, Jr., and Michael Herman Lesert; daughter, Brenda Juanita McMahan; 10 grandchildren; 12+ great grandchildren; 14+ great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Blanche was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Louis Lesert; daughter, Debra Marie Keene; brother, Folger Lee Brooks; and sister, Rachel E. Johnson.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, August 19, 2022, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitations for family and friends will be held Thursday, August 18, 2022, 6 PM until 8 PM, and Friday, August 19, 2022, 10 AM until 11 AM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, MD.
