Bobby Joe Davis

Bobby Joe Davis, 80 years, of Perryville, MD, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at home. Born August 10, 1942 in Ashe County, NC, he was the son of the late John Lee and Ora Lee Testerman Davis.

Mr. Davis was formerly employed as a logistics shipping leader by Solvay USA, Inc., of Havre de Grace, MD.  He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion of Perryville, MD, Eagles Club of Oxford, PA, and Moose Lodge No. 1450 of Aberdeen, MD.

Mr. Davis is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Catherine Elizabeth Davis; son, Michael A. Davis; daughter, Angela M. Strong and husband, Brian; grandchildren, Alyssa Strong (Corey Hunt), Zachary Strong (Samantha Keithley), Kylee Weber, Adelynn Davis; great grandchildren, Makenna Hunt and Ava Cooper; sisters, Patty Tharp and Lisa Greenland.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his sisters, Ginny Barr and Edna May Davis.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Catherine E. Davis in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, October 24, 2022, 12 Noon, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, October 23, 2022, 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home. Asst. Pastor Chris Flosser of the Bethel Christian Center of Havre de Grace, MD. Interment will be in Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, MD.
