Bobby R. Donaldson

Bobby R. Donaldson, 75 years, of Conowingo, MD, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018 in the University of Maryland Harford Memorial Hospital of Havre de Grace, MD. Born March 20, 1943 in Memphis, TN, he was the son of the late William Benjamin Donaldson and Dorothy May Starkey Donaldson McDonald. Bobby was a retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant and a retired Department of Defense employee. He was a member of the Non-Commissioned Officer Association and a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church of Port Deposit, MD. Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Tung Cha (Yi) Donaldson of Conowingo, MD; daughters, Christine Lee Copeland of Shalimar, FL, and Betty S. Cummiskey of Kaiserslautern, Germany; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers, Bruce Donaldson and Jim Donaldson; sisters, Barbara Shultz, Debbie Woodward, and Delois Jane Bacosa. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his brothers, Joe Donaldson and Ben Donaldson; sisters, Bennie Hayes and Dottie Carroll. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 4, 2018, 12 Noon, at the Pleasant View Baptist Church of Port Deposit, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, September 4, 2018, 11 AM until 12 Noon, at the church prior to the funeral service. Pastor Dr. Harold Phillips of Pleasant View Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will private.
