Byron Stanley Glovier, 62 yrs, of Perryville, MD, died Monday, March 19, 2012, at his residence. Born December 5, 1949, in Aliquippa, PA, he was the son of the late Byron Albert and Sara Taddeo Glovier.
Byron moved to Aberdeen, MD, with his family as a teen. He also lived in Modesto, CA, and Annapolis, MD, before settling in Cecil County in 1997.
Byron was formerly employed by Union Hospital of Cecil County in Environmental Services. Byron was an accomplished artist. He loved his family and friends. He enjoyed music, hand crafts and the ocean.
Byron is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Russell Ray of Port Deposit, MD; nephew, David Parks of Perryville, MD; and many extended family members all whom he loved dearly.
In addition to his parents, Byron was preceded in death by his brother, Larry C. Glovier.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, March 22, 2012, 11 AM, at Pleasant View Baptist Church, Port Deposit, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, March 22, 2012, 10 AM until 11 AM, at the church prior to the funeral service. Pastor Dr. Harold Phillips of Pleasant View Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, MD.
