Calvin C Reeves

Calvin C. Reeves, 86 yrs, of Perryville, MD, died Thursday, January 13, 2011, in Harbor Health Care & Rehabilitation, Lewes, DE.   Born November 4, 1924, in Townsend, MA, he was a son of the late William and Lillian Keddy Reeves. Mr. Reeves is a retired Chief Petty Officer of the United States Navy having served in World War II and the Korean Conflict, a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Perryville, MD; and is survived by his sons, Calvin D. Reeves and wife, Margaret, of Milton DE and Dennis W. Reeves and wife, Sharon, of Oakland, MD.; two grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brother, Harold Reeves, Lawrenceburg, TN; and sister, Marguery Navaroli, Hollis, NH. In addition to his parents, Mr. Reeves was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Dougherty Reeves; brothers, Joseph Reeves, Edward Reeves, Tony Reeves; and sister, Ella Reeves. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Society of Saint Vincent DePaul in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, January 19, 2011, 11 AM, at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Perryville, MD.  Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2011, 7-9 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD.  Father Jay KcKee of Good Shepherd Catholic Church will officiate.  Interment will be in St. Mark’s Cemetery, Perryville, MD.
