Carl Johnson Page, 76, of Perryville, Maryland, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at home surrounded by his loving family. Born October 10, 1935 in Perryville, he was the son of the late James K. Page and Lois Mae Hasson Page.
A graduate of Perryville High School, Carl served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a rifle instructor at Paris Island South Carolina from 1954 to 1957. He was employed for forty years as a block operator for Conrail.
He is preceded in death by his son Kenneth Robert Page. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Pauline DeWitt Page; daughter, Janet Lynn Bines; granddaughter Erin Lynn McMaster and her husband Michael; grandson Brian Thomas Bines and his wife Kayla; two great-grandchildren, Zachary and Emma; and a great-granddaughter arriving soon; two sisters, Joan McCardell and her husband Mac, and Beverly McMillan and her late husband Ed; two brothers, James A. Page and his wife Dottie, and John R. Page and his wife Betty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Carl loved watching all sports, especially NASCAR. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 23, 2012, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2012, 7PM to 9 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Pastor Dr. Harold Phillips of Pleasant View Baptist Church of Port Deposit, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Principio Cemetery, Perryville, MD.
