Carlos Juan Gutierrez, Sr.

Carlos Juan Gutierrez, Sr., 62 years, of Perryville, MD, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at his residence. Born January 10, 1954 in Santurce, Puerto Rico he was the son of the late Juan and Marie Rea Vargas Gutierrez. Mr. Gutierrez was formerly employed as a welder by Aberdeen Proving Ground of Aberdeen, MD. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam War. Mr. Gutierrez is survived by his fiancé Catherine O’Brien Kaufman of Perryville, MD; son, Carlos Juan Gutierrez, Jr.; step-son, Thomas J. O’Brien; brother Jose Guterriez; and sister, Ivonne Gutierrez-Bucher. Funeral services will be private.
