Carmen Cruz

Carmen Cruz, 74 years, of Perryville, MD, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020 at home. Born June 28, 1946 in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Carmelo and Ana Ramos Morales.

Mrs. Cruz was formerly employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse and Maintenance Dept. Dispatcher by the V.A. Maryland Healthcare System of Perry Point, MD. She is survived by her son, Thomas Cruz, III of Perryville, MD; daughter, Ana-Julia Cruz of Newark, DE; two grandchildren; brothers, Felix Lopez of Long Island, NY, and Jose Morales of North East, MD.

Mrs. Cruz was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Cruz, Jr.; brothers, Angel Morales, Wilfredo Morales, William Morales; and sister, Martha Morales.

A Memorial Services has been scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2020, 5 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, September 12, 2020, 4 PM until 5 PM, at the funeral home prior to the Memorial Service. Pastor Michael A. Caldwell of the Principio United Methodist Church of Perryville, MD, will officiate. Interment will be private.
