Carolyn Lee (Harman) Burton

Carolyn Lee Burton, 71 years, of Conowingo, MD, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017 in Christiana Care Medical Center of Newark, DE. Born July 7, 1946 in Elkton, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Myrtle Slade Harman. Mrs. Burton was formerly employed as a store clerk by the Dublin Market of Dublin, MD. She is survived by her sons, Raymond Burton of Conowingo, MD, and Richard Burton of Rural Retreat, VA; daughter, Tammy Durham of Elkton, MD, 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, John Harman, Gene Harman and Gary Harman; sisters, Margaret Edmundson and Marie Aleshire. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Burton was preceded in death by her husband, John Ray Burton and brother, Bill Harman. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. A visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, July 28, 2017, 7 PM until 9 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Interment will be private.
