Carson Paul Stallard

Carson Paul Stallard, age 81, of Edgewood, died Friday, August 31, 2018 in the Senator Bob Hooper Hospice House of Bel Air.  He was born February 1, 1937 in Wise County, VA, the son of Emory Melvin Stallard and Altie Marie Hall Stallard.  He was the husband of the late Glenna Brooks Stallard. Carson (who went by Paul) was a loving, selfless person, father and husband who always took care of his family and friends.  He was an MP in the Army, semi-pro baseball player, and crane operator at Bethlehem Steel until he retired.  He coached his daughter's softball team for many years and was loved by not only his daughters but by the girls he coached who thought of him as a second dad.  He was a jack of all trades and always used his skills to help his family as well as anyone he ran across who needed help.  People in his life always said he's one of a kind with a tremendous amount of integrity, loyalty and love for those fortunate enough to know him.  He will be greatly missed by many. He is survived by three daughters: Cindy Aston, Wendy Sampson and Amy Wilson, and eight grandchildren. Private services and entombment will be held at Bel Air Memorial Gardens with funeral arrangements by Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A. Perryville, MD.
