Charles Edward Muir

Charles Edward (Bud) Muir, 73 yrs, of Warwick, MD, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at his residence. Born December 15, 1938 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Vernon Fuller and Helen Martha Yurek Muir. Mr. Muir was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and retired Pastor of Church of Jesus. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Ann Bond of Warwick, MD; children, Charles Edward Muir, Jr. and Kimberly Ann Kapple-Muir (spouse), Mark Allen Muir and Lynn Marie Muir (spouse), Bryan Anthony Muir, Brenda Karen Layne and William Layne (spouse); seven grandchildren, Kent Muir, Lauren Muir, Jesse Partoza, Charles (Colt) Edward Muir III, Floyd Allan Muir, Angela Marie Bachman, Joseph Ryan Layne; two great grandchildren, Brian Little and Jacklynn Little; sisters, Joan Petzold and the late Dorothy “Dot” Amend. Mr. Muir was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed woodworking, weight training, gardening, metal detecting, and model railroading in his leisure time. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, September 21, 2012, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, September 20, 2012, 5 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home. Reverend Dr. Harold Phillips of Pleasant View Baptist Church, Port Deposit, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in West Nottingham Cemetery, Colora MD. Arrangements by Lee A.
