Charles (Buck) Reasin

Charles (Buck) Reasin, 86 yrs, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of the late Charles and Elva Mae Jackson Reasin. American Legion Post No. 47 of Havre de Grace, MD, whose founders include his father, Charles Reasin, and uncle, Harry Reasin, was Buck's life-long interest starting as a volunteer ambulance driver. He was quite proud of his membership in the Masons and proud of his service in the United States Navy during WW II. Buck lived most of his life in Havre de Grace and Elkton, MD. He enjoyed his senior activities of the past 25 years with the companionship and friendship of Gloria Gatchel of Havre de Grace, MD. Buck is survived by his brother, Lee Reasin of Mesa, AZ; sons, Alan Reasin and wife, June, of Conowingo, MD, Charles Reasin and wife, Nancy, of Elkton, MD; daughter, Jowain Dougherty and husband, George, of Newark, DE; two grandsons; two granddaughters; and three great grandsons. Memorial contributions may be made to the Havre de Grace American Legion Post No. 47, 501 St. John Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, July 15, 2013, 7 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, July 15, 2013, 5 PM until 7 PM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in Angel Hill Cemetery, Havre de Grace, MD.
