Charles William Wilson

Charles William Wilson, 85 years, of Perryville, MD, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 at his residence. Born January 14, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Charles A. and Emily Vicker Wilson. Charles was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and formerly employed as a fabricator by Westinghouse Electric of Pensacola, FL. He is survived by his wife, Thelma Corson Wilson of Perryville, MD; son, Glenn Wilson and wife, Charlene, of Gibsonton, FL; daughter, Debra Downing and husband, Bill, of Delmar, MD; two grandchildren, Staci Sousa and husband, Michael, and Jennifer Underwood and husband, Nate; and one great grandchild, Aubrey Sousa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amedisys Foundation in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. Graveside services are scheduled for Tuesday, July 18, 2017, 11 AM, in Lawn Croft Cemetery of Linwood, PA. Pastor Mary Brown of Ebenezer United Methodist Church of Pike Creek, DE, will officiate.
