Clarence Edward Burton

Clarence Edward Burton, age 61, of Springfield, KY, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025 in the Jewish Hospital of Louisville, KY. Born March 14, 1964 in Elkton, MD, he was the son of the late John and Marie Willien Burton.

Clarence was an employee of Louisville Mechanical and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Winters Burton; son, Jason Burton (Etta) of Elkton, MD; daughters, Brittany Reece (Cody) of Elizabethton, TN, Kelly Burton of Baltimore, MD, Latisha Jones of Amsterdam, NY, and Tara Stanley (Brandon) of Butler, TN; fourteen grandchildren; brothers, Carl Burton of Somerset, PA, and Jim Burton (Edna) of Port Deposit, MD; sisters, Sue Cox of Lancaster, PA, Shirley Jackson (Andy) of Little Britian, PA, and Liz Sheets of North Carolina.

Clarence was preceded in death by sisters, Helen Burton, Carol Burton, and Jane Whited; and brothers, Frank, John, Ralph and George Burton.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 16, 2025, 12 Noon, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025, 11 AM until 12 Noon, at the funeral home prior to the funeral. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD.
