Cornelius Willard Wilson, Jr.

Cornelius Willard Wilson, Jr., 78 yrs, of Port Deposit, MD, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 in Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace, MD.  Born January 16, 1934 in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of the late Cornelius Willard, Sr., and Marian Meck Wilson. Mr. Wilson is retired from Aberdeen Proving Ground of Aberdeen, MD, where he was employed as an artillery repairman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard, Specialist 5, having served from March 1954 until March 1962. Mr. Wilson is survived by his daughter, Elaine Wilson of Port Deposit, MD; 3 grandchildren: 2 great grandchildren; brothers, Edward Wilson of Port Deposit, MD, and Robert Wilson of Rising Sun, MD; sister, Ann Calendar of Baltimore, MD. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his wife, Rocelia Fitzgerald Wilson; son, Scott Willard Wilson; daughter, Shelby Wilson; and sister, Jean Adams. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jerry Skrivanek VFW Post No. 8185 of Port Deposit, MD. Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, May 6, 2012, 2 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, May 6, 2012, 12 Noon until 2 PM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Rev. Billie Brightwell of West Nottingham Presbyterian Church of Colora, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in West Nottingham Cemetery, Colora, MD. Arrangements by Lee A.
