Daniel Allen Lucas

Daniel Allen Lucas, 66 years, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2026 in The Johns Hopkins Hospital of Baltimore, MD. Born July 13, 1959 in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of Patricia Anne Paisley Lucas and the late Donald Allen Lucas.

Daniel was employed for more than 40 years as a Chemical Technician by Siemens, formerly the DuPont Corporation, of Glasgow, DE. He was a member of the Rising Sun American Legion Post No. 194 S.A.L.

Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Karyn W. Lucas; brother, John Andrew Lucas (Christine); and sister, Catherine Anne Collins (Joe); niece, Amanda Christie (Richard); great nephews who he loved very much, Cayden, Jason, Carter and Jackson; nephew, Andrew Lucas; niece, Jessica Lucas and fiancé, Ryan Huntley; and nephews, Justin Collins and Jonathan Collins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Rising Sun American Legion at a later date.
