Darlene Marie Slone

Darlene Marie Slone, 59 years, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024 in the Christiana Care – Accent Care of Newark, DE. Born April 11, 1964 in Elkton, MD, she was the daughter of Carol E. Ropka Slone and the late Milton Slone, Jr.

Darlene was employed as a Registered Nurse by the V.A. HealthCare System of Perry Point, MD. She was an avid gardener, adored her cats, and loved life. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Blythedale, Perryville, MD.

Darlene is survived by her loving companion of 26 years, Eric Reynolds; mother, Carol E. Ropka Slone; sister, Diane Slone Barrett; sister-in-law, Ruth L. Slone; nephews, Jared Slone, Trent Slone, and Travis Sample.

In addition to her father, Darlene was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Milton Slone.

Funeral services will be private.
