David Ronald Dawson

David Ronald Dawson, 74 yrs, of Port Deposit, MD, died Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center of Baltimore, MD.  Born October 7, 1939 in Perryville, MD, he was the son of the late John Bernhard and Pearl Blansfield Dawson. David was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church of Port Deposit, MD, the Lions Club of Perryville and Recycled Teenage Cruisers. He was a Route Salesman for the former Mt. Ararat Farms of Port Deposit, MD. More recently David was the Owner and Insurance Agent of the Dawson Nationwide Insurance Agency of Perryville, MD, for over 30 years. David is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judith Spencer Dawson of Port Deposit, MD; daughter, Megan Dawson Hunt and husband, Stephen A., of North East, MD; brothers, John B. Dawson, Hugh B. Dawson, George Dawson; sisters, Barbara Natoli, Mary Ellen Shankland, Carolyn Broth and Ethel Mae (Masie) Polk. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald R. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, November 25, 2013, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, November 24, 2013, 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home. Rev.
