David Edward Frye

David Edward Frye, 63 yrs, of Perryville, MD, died Monday, June 20, 2011, in Chicken, Alaska. Born March 11, 1948, in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late James Wilson and Hester Alverta Scherer Frye. David was a veteran of the United States Army and was active in the Coast Guard Auxiliary. He was employed as a fire marshall and sanitation supervisor by Domino Sugar of Baltimore, MD. He was an avid railroader and fisherman. David is survived by his wife, Christine Frye, Perryville, MD; daughter, Shannan Ross, Havre de Grace, MD; sons, James Frye and Brent Frye, Wilmington, DE; step-son, Joseph Shank, Oxford, PA; three grandsons; one granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made “In Memory of Dave Frye” to Our Daily Bread, 725 Fallway, Baltimore, MD 21202. Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, June 26, 2011, 2 PM,  at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD.  Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, June 25, 2011, 12 Noon until 4 PM, and 12 Noon to 2 PM, Sunday, June 26, 2011, prior to the funeral service.  Father Jay McKee of Good Shepherd Catholic Church will officiate.
