David Martin Kestler

David Martin Kestler, 72 years, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026 at home. Born March 29, 1953 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Harry Thomas and Elaine Regina Mathias Kestler.

David retired following 42 years of federal government service with the Aberdeen Proving Ground as the Aberdeen Test Center Churchville Facilities Supervisor. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Paula Kay Kestler; son, Scott Thomas Kestler; grandsons, Maximus Thomas Kestler and Cruz Steven Kestler; sister, Barbara Ann Gaffney (George); brother, John Frederick Kestler; nephews, Michael Douglas Gaffney and Thomas Steven Kestler; and niece, Georgeanne Linett Gaffney (Peter Hewes).

A visitation has been scheduled for Saturday, February 7, 2026, 1 PM until 3 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Interment will be private.
