Delmer Claude Price

Delmer Claude Price, 86 years, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017 in North East, MD. Born December 2, 1930 in Chilhowie, VA he was the son of the late Victor and Rosetta Walls Price. Mr. Price was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church of Port Deposit, MD. He was formerly employed by Chrysler of Newark, DE, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Price is survived by his sons, Ricky Claude Price of Port Deposit, MD, and Michael Allen Price of Darlington, MD; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Mr. Price’s loving wife, Lucille Elizabeth Bennett Price, passed away the evening of the same day, Monday, April 17, 2017; and his brothers, Leaman Price, Lawrence Price, Burley Price, Harry Price, Howard Price and Teddy Price. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Pleasant View Baptist Church in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, April 24, 2017, 11 AM, at Pleasant View Baptist Church, Port Deposit, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, April 23, 2017, 6 PM until 8 PM, at Pleasant View Baptist Church. Pastor Dr. Harold Phillips of Pleasant View Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD.
