Diane "Dee" Mary (Schmidt) Aburn

Diane  " Dee"  Mary Dorothy Aburn, 70 yrs, of Perryville, MD, passed away Saturday,  April 19, 2014, at her residence. Born December 19, 1943 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late John and Catherine Schmidt. Dee was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan, as well as a Nascar fan. She is survived by her son, Howard Aburn and wife, Judy; daughters, Lorie Aburn and fiancée, Lou Woolslegger, Tammy Lamb and husband, Paul; five grandchildren, Heidi Watts, Ryan Reburn, Brandon Reburn, Jay Aburn, Brian Heavener; four great grandchildren, Ayla, Paige, Carter, Sylus; sisters, Kathy Swauger and Paula Meek; and her very special extended family, Donna, Vanessa, Chris, Renee, Della and the late, Nancy Fields. In addition to her parents, Dee was preceded in death by her brother, John "Jeep" Schmidt. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation, Wounded Warriors or the American Diabetes Association in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. A memorial service has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 23, 2014, 7 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD.  A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2014,  5:30 PM  until  7 PM, at the funeral home prior to the memorial service.
