Diane (Farmer) Tennis

Linda “Diane” Tennis, 62 yrs, of Conowingo, MD, died Sunday, January 22, 2012, at her residence. Born October 11, 1949, in Mountain City, TN, she was a daughter of the late Curtis A. and Velma Mae Hammons Farmer. Diane was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church of Port Deposit, MD, and a Register Nurse employed by the V.A. Maryland Health Care System, Perry Point, MD. Diane is survived by her husband, Edgar William Tennis, Jr., of Conowingo, MD; daughters, Beth Richardson and husband, Pat, of San Antonio, TX, and Jennifer Myrick and husband, Earl, of Florence, SC; five grandchildren, Nicole, Shane, Hannah, Jacob and Ethan; two great grandchildren, Curtis and Jaxon; and sister, Elaine Mahan and husband, Skip, of Port Deposit, MD. Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant View Baptist Church in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, January 27, 2012, 12 Noon, at the Pleasant View Baptist Church of Port Deposit, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, January 27, 2012, 10 AM until 12 Noon, at the church prior to the funeral service. Pastor Dr. Harold Phillips of Pleasant View Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mark’s Cemetery, Perryville, MD.
