Donald Dean Mcdaniel

Donald Dean McDaniel, 78 yrs, of Port Deposit, MD, died Thursday, September 17, 2015 at his residence. Born October 28, 1936 in West Virginia he was the son of the late Julius Allan and Loma Mae Rose McDaniel. Mr. McDaniel was a member of Conowingo Baptist Church of Conowingo, MD, and was employed by the former General Motors Corporation of Wilmington, DE. Mr. McDaniel is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Kennedy McDaniel of Port Deposit, MD; sons, Daniel, Ronald, Samuel, Gilbert and Robert; daughters, Brenda and Connie; 14 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; brothers, Lester and Jim. In addition to his parents, Mr. McDaniel was preceded in death by his son, Donald Dean McDaniel, Jr.; 3 brothers; and 4 sisters. A celebration of life has been scheduled for Tuesday, September 22, 2015, 11 AM, at the Wrightsdale Baptist Church, PA. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2015, 10 AM until 11 AM, at the church prior to the funeral service. Pastor Clair R. Myers, Jr., will officiate. Interment will be private.
