Doris M. (Jones) Clark

Peacefully on February 23, 2022, Doris M. Clark left her earthly bonds to join hands with our Lord and Savior.

Doris, known to family and friends as “Nell Nell,” was born February 10, 1944 in Port Deposit, MD, to the late Robert H. and Addie E. Jones. She attended George Washington Carver High School and was a homemaker.

Preceded in death by her husband, George Clark, Sr., Doris is survived by their five children, Michael Jones of North Carolina, Kennie Jones, Sr., of Salisbury, MD, Rodney Jones of California, Linda Ray and Otis of Elkton, MD, Delores Reynolds of Port Deposit, MD; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Jones of Aberdeen, MD; brothers, Clarence Jones and Mary Ann of North East, MD, Robert H. Jones & Elva of Wilmington, DE; sister-in-law, Chris Jones of Virginia; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A memorial service has been scheduled for Saturday, March 12, 2022, 12 Noon, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, March 12, 2022, 11 AM until 12 Noon, at the funeral home prior to the memorial service. Interment will be private.
