Dorothy Anna (Denk) Griffin

Dorothy Anna Griffin, 86 yrs, of Port Deposit, MD, died Tuesday, August 13, 2013 in Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace, MD.  Born July 6, 1927 in Baltimoe, MD, she was the daughter of the late Harry Bernard and Isabelle Marrissey Denk. Mrs. Griffin was a member of Saint Ursulas Catholic Church of Parkville, MD, and was formerly employed by Monarch Services, Inc., of Baltimore, MD, as a bindery worker. Mrs. Griffin is survived by her son, Ross Griffin of Port Deposit, MD; two grandchildren, Amanda Marie Wooten and Danielle Nicole Griffin; one great grandchild, Gracie Nicole Wooten; brothers, James Vernon Denk and William Denk, Sr. Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by her husband, James Ross Griffin; brothers, Donald Denk and Harry Denk; and sister, Lorraine Wiegard. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 19, 2013, 9:30 AM, at Saint Ursulas Catholic Church, Harford Road & Putty Hill Avenue, Parkville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, August 18, 2013, 6 PM until 8 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral  Home, P.A., Perryville, MD.
