Dorothy Mae (Edwards) Page

Dorothy Mae Edwards Page, 81 yrs, of Perryville, MD, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015 at Calvert Manor Healthcare Center. Born October 9, 1933 in Perryville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Edith C. Ward Edwards. Dottie was a graduate of Perryville High School and she retired from the Ordnance Center and School at Aberdeen Proving Ground in 1979. Dottie was a member of the Susquehanna American Legion Post No. 135 of Perryville, MD, Ladies Auxiliary. Dottie’s favorite past times were playing bingo, slots, spending time with her children, grandchildren and her kitty, Boo Boo. Dottie is survived by her daughter, Linda L. Page Hindman of Perryville; son, James E. Page and wife, Wendy, of Rising Sun; daughter, Jo Ann Page of Perryville; grandsons, Kenneth J. Page of Rising Sun and Tyler M. Hindman of Perryville. In addition to her parents, Dottie was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Page of Perryville; sister, Nancy A. Edwards Wardell of Perryville; son-in-law, Michael E. Hindman of Perryville. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2015, 1 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, June 6, 2015, 12 Noon until 1 PM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor Michael A. Caldwell of Asbury United Methodist Church of Port Deposit, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Principio United Methodist Church Cemetery, Perryville, MD.
